THE ELM TREE RESTAURANT
We are open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday – Saturday.
We host small intimate dinners and functions at The Elm Tree Restaurant for a maximum of 30 guests for a seated set menu function.
We can accommodate up to 50 guests with our cocktail menu.
HIGHLIGHT AT THE SYRENE: We host a collection of Koos van de Lendes' Photographic works which are displayed throughout the hotel for your enjoyment.
THE WINERY
The Syrene has a fully operational Winery which Joburg Wines winemakers’ Glen James and Sara Webster currently
produces up to 5000 bottles of Joburg Wines per year. Their grapes are brought up from their own farm in the cape
(Bonidale area), and then complete the entire wine making process from the pressing of the grapes to the barreling
and the bottling of their Joburg Wines here in the Winery at the Syrene. This is the 1st fully functional working winery in JHB.
