Two new lodges have opened their doors in May this year in Zambia: Thorntree River Lodge in Livingstone, and King Lewanika Lodge in the Liuwa Plains of Western Zambia.

Thorntree River Lodge is set in Zambia’s Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, just a short distance from the famous Victoria Falls, and has been completely rebuilt with an environmentally conscious design. The lodge has 8 twin rooms and 2 family units.

King Lewanika Lodge is the only permanent camp operating in Liuwa Plain National Park. The camp blends seamlessly into woodland and has been designed by award-winning architects. It has 6 open-fronted luxury tented villas on raised platforms.
