Motswiri Camp to close down
MOTSWIRI CAMP TO CLOSE DOWN IN 2020
Unfortunately I have some sad news to announce. Motswiri Camp will cease all safari activities from the 1 January 2020. Please see an announcement from Peter Holbrow, Managing Director of RAW Botswana Motswiri Camp.
"It is with great sadness that I announce today the closure of RAW Botswana's Motswiri Camp. RAW Botswana was unable to agree terms with Linyanti Explorations for an extension on its lease. The lease will come to an end on 31st December 2019, at which point the company will cease its safaris at Motswiri Camp. The company is committed to providing the highest level of service to its guests and agents for the remainder of the year, and is most grateful to its guests, agents and staff for their past, present and on-going loyalty and support.
Please note that current confirmed and provisional bookings, traveling between now and the 31 December 2019 are not affected, and agents are assured that their guests will continue to be hosted in the same manner as they have become accustomed to.
Please note that for the remainder of the year, it is business as usual, and we look forward to welcoming guests traveling until the 31 December 2019.

As mentioned by Peter above, the camp is still open for business and it will be business as usual for the remainder of 2019. Therefore you can still sell the Trails of Botswana Packages that include Motswiri Camp until the 31 December 2019.
