The SA Armour Museum is located in Tempe Military Base in Bloemfontein (Free State), one of the South Africa’s largest cities and one of the country's capitals. Affectionately known as the city of roses, Bloemfontein has a charming character all of its own, and is a delight to visit as a family, thanks to its rich history and heritage.
An exterior display of Armoured Fighting Vehicles (within the lines of the School of Armour and 1 SA Tank Regiment).

The SA Armour Museum is dedicated to preserving the integrity and the history of the South African Armoured Corps (SAAC), as well as of armour in a broader sense. Its exhibitions include an indoor display, outdoor display, the Garrison Hall, a vehicle hanger (complete with a number of restored vehicles that are, once again, in working order), the poignant Wall of Remembrance, and more.
