On 31 October 2020, the Windhoek Motor Club hosted a club event, racing again for the first time in 2020.
WMC said it will for the first time mix up the racing with circuit and karting taking place at the same time. “We will have one circuit race and then a karting race, and then the circuit again, just to mix things up a little and offer the spectators something unusual and exciting for this event,” it added.
The event will start with qualifying for circuit cars at 11h00, then qualifying for karting heats. “To spice things up a little we have decided to offer ‘production classes’ to the circuit where anyone with a roadworthy car can enter. You can bring along your car and get a feel of the exhilaration of racing around a well-known race track in your own car,” added the statement, which also said there will be no race cars in the production race. After all the races scheduled for the day have concluded, there will be a drag race where production cars will also be allowed to enter.
