Straddled majestically between the #Selinda and #Vumbura River systems within the famous Okavango Delta, and located in an exclusive area overlooking a permanent lagoon encircled by large shady trees lies Royal Delta Lodge. The location itself is magnificent with sweeping vistas of the lagoon and open plains beyond, ensuring optimal viewing of wildlife and birdlife from the surrounds of the lodge.
The lodge has been designed to exceed all expectations from accommodation, cuisine and a host of activities to unrivalled hospitality where intimacy, privacy and exceptional hosting will ensure that each and every guest will enjoy an unforgettable and memorable experience.
Royal Delta Lodge is the vision and brain-child of like-minded individuals, in particular the owners, where their experiences from around the world, combine to form the creative flair, attention to detail, passion and energy which is reflected in the design of the lodge. The fusion of their expressions are apparent in the furnishings which incorporate a myriad of themes, expertly woven together to create an atmosphere that exudes tasteful decadence and relaxed luxury.
Comprising 10 ultra luxurious canvas suites, which include a family suite and 2 honeymoon suites; each suite boasts a private swimming pool, fireplace, full en suite bathrooms with outdoor shower and air- conditioning above the beds. The rooms have been spaced and positioned in such a manner that they ensure ultimate privacy. Complementing this is a butler service and golf cart transfers between suites and main areas on raised wooden walkways. The main areas are themed and offer a variety of options for the discerning guest; from the library to the discovery room and the explorers room, reminiscent of a by-gone era, each room allows guests to relax in secluded luxury and while away time between safari activities. Other areas include a gym, spa, and a cocktail lounge area opening up onto the swimming pool with exquisite views of the Royal Delta lagoon. Each theme will evoke one’s imagination from the colonial to the exploratory.
Dining is an affair to be celebrated, and our exceptional culinary team comprising of an Executive Chef, Pastry Chef and Sous Chef ensure that each and every taste bud is left tantalized.
