Maui Motor Homes Prohibited from Namibia
Please take note that Maui Motor Homes will no longer be allowed to travel into Namibia as of the 1st of November 2018! This is because the motorhomes are made for tar roads and not our gravel roads which are sometimes extremely corrugated or worn down to the bedrock.
Whether other companies will follow this trend it is unknown, e.g. BOBO Campers and we will keep you abreast of developments.
Britz, Caprivi Car Hire as well as Africa on Wheels rent out smaller versions of motorhomes which are more robust and can better withstand the Namibian gravel road conditions.
