Kunene River Lodge
It is that time of the year where the water from southern Angola flows down into our rivers and provides us with the much needed water in Namibia. Although a huge blessing, with it comes certain challenges that we have managed to overcome over the past few years.
At Kunene River Lodge, we have seen our first challenge with all 4 sluices of the Dam opening which resulted in flood of the entire property. In the past 2 weeks we have managed to get almost everything up and running but are tormented with rumors of sluices opening again.
As most bookings have been cancelled until mid March 2020, we are opening the Bar, restaurant, campsites as well as the A-Frame bungalows from Friday the 13th of March 2020. The Deluxe rooms will not be available for occupancy until the start of May 2020.
