The main aim of the program is to assist guides in Driver safety and awareness whilst on the road, in an effort to keep up to date with the latest safety techniques. This exercise has assisted the guides in enhancing their driving skills and building their confidence when behind the wheel and also played a major part in ensuring guest safety and overall experience.
Currently all of the guides permanently employed by Drifters have completed the driver assessment and training program as well as a Basic First Aid course. Drifters also have a 24 hour emergency crisis call line that is displayed in each truck, highlighting the protocol for an emergency, whatever the nature.
