NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH
Chobe Savanna Lodge has a brand new home!
During the lockdown, the team at Chobe Savanna Lodge were hard at work, not just starting up our very own organic vegetable garden… But building a beautiful new website too!
Our website encapsulates our welcoming, easy-going, and warm hospitality while showing off the incredible list of things you can do and see at the lodge.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS UPDATE
Chobe Savanna Lodge is safe and ready to welcome guests.
With the reopening of the lodge, we have updated all of our documentation to reflect entry & exit requirements for Namibia as well as COVID-19 testing options for guests departing through Kasane.
COVID-19 PCR testing can be arranged from USD80 per person and remember Namibia allows negative tests to be used for up to 7-days from the time of testing.
All staff on duty at the lodge will be vaccinated prior to arrival.
HOW TO GET TO CHOBE SAVANNA LODGE
Access options to get to the lodge
Owing to its stunning location on a peninsular on the Namibian side of the Chobe River, the lodge can be reached in several ways. The journey to the lodge is in itself a wonderful scenic transfer and adds to the exclusivity.
While the lodge has not been operating we’ve worked on several access options.
1. Self-drivers can now reach Chobe Savanna Lodge without entering Botswana. Access and routes vary on time of the year:
° Secure parking, followed by a boat transfer
° Drive directly to the lodge (water-level dependent)
° Transfer from Katima Mulilo
2. Self-drivers in Botswana may leave their vehicle at Kasane Airport secure parking and a complimentary transfer will be provided to the Kasane Immigration boat jetty and onto Chobe Savanna Lodge after border formalities.
3. Off international/charter flights into Botswana’s Kasane Airport followed by road/boat transfer as above.
4. Transfer from Victoria Falls into Botswana to Kasane Immigration jetty and onwards transfer to Chobe Savanna Lodge.
