Strand Hotel Refurbishment - Building Remedial Works
The Strand Hotel Swakopmund is undertaking its 1st phase of building refurbishment works.
Strand Hotel will be focusing on domestic water piping and the replacement of HVAC cooling towers.
The site handover was done on 26.10.21 with the site office officially setup on Monday 01.11.21. Work on the roof was concluded mid-December and the project took a break until the 20th of January 2022. The project will now commence inside the hotel with a targeted end date of this phase to be 30.08.2022.
During this 1st phase, the hotel will operate on reduced bedroom inventory based on the blocks in the building, the project will be undertaking its works. Our reservations and operations teams will ensure that our guests staying are not inconvenienced by the works being undertaken. We will ensure communication from time of reservation all the way to our guests checking in of the impact of these works. For your convenience, we have highlighted below the room types and in which blocks that will be available for guests staying ,and also available when making reservations.
