The new Blue Ray and Electric Eel waterslides at the revamped Dolphin Park Resort were officially opened on Friday morning last week.
In her welcoming remarks, Walvis Bay Mayor, Uillika Nambahu, expressed her satisfaction with the new waterslides in the recreational resort, “These facilities give status to our town, and shows that we are not solely focusing on our fishing industry” she said.
Special Advisor to the Erongo Governor, Adelaide Kandjala, was present at the opening and delivered a speech on behalf of Regional and Local Government, Housing and Rural Development Minister, Charles Namholo, who could not attend the function.
“Congratulations on the achievement with the upgrading of the establishment and its new features. Visitors from elsewhere will be equally proud. It is a wise investment and provides an excellent form of recreation,” he said.
Councillor Derek Klazen, gave the vote of thanks, to express appreciation to each and everyone involved in the project.
