Forest Edge news

Our capable and enthusiastic managers, Dries and Susan, have given all the cottages a maintenance over-all and replaced tie-backs, scatter cushions, dvds and anything else required. The gardens and food forest have also received some tough love and the Reception and Staff Rooms have never looked better!

For those who asked for updates, all the properties down our little road have sold - sorry you lost out.. If you are still in the market, contact me re a prime property including a very successful going concern on it, now going to market.  If you received this e-mail, you are exempt from commission (talk about a real Gift!)

Forest Edge Wildlife update

This week I had to gracefully retreat when a family of bushpigs grunted in my direction while on a full moon walk-about. What would Obelix have done?

And our Summer fairytales continue with gorgeous dragonflies and many Birds spotted by our birding visitors.

Tips for savvy travellers

I can't advise strongly enough to finalise bookings early, especially for popular periods. We are already almost fully booked for the 2nd Oyster Festival weekend and bookings for the December holidays have started.

If you are flexible in your travel habits, consider following our Last-Minute Announcement Service. Be sure to look at our snazzy, up-to-date availability calendar when you consider the various school holidays & long weekends.
