These are the dates scheduled and pricing for training at our new tented training location within the Bwabwata National Park:
Introduction to Nature Guiding
This course is a “Skills Program” on how to conduct a Guided Nature Experience in a specific geographical region in Namibia. The program is aimed at prospective Tourist Guides and School leavers who are seeking a two week “bush experience” in a remote wilderness area in Namibia to get a taste of working in the field guiding industry. This is the ideal entry level into the guiding industry. The duration of this course is 2 weeks / 14 days.

View Potentially Dangerous Animals (VPDA) – Professional
This is an add-on to the Introduction to Nature Guiding Course. This course deals with how to safely approach potentially dangerous game in a vehicle, by boat and also on foot and is aimed at existing guides and prospective guides with previous experience in the guiding industry and or the Introduction to Nature Guiding Certificate or similar. The duration of this course is 10 days.

View Potentially Dangerous Animals (VPDA) – Adventure
This course is specifically tailored to members of the general public and photographers who would like to approach dangerous game on their own by vehicle or by boat and teach them how to do so in a safe manner. This course is not a certification course but a certificate of attendance will be issued. The duration of this course is 7 days.

The Nature Guide – Dangerous Animals
The Nature Guide Dangerous Animals course covers all theory relating to the prescribed unit standards, ranging from client care and guiding principles to field knowledge, including handling scenarios with dangerous animals and basic tracking skills, this course covers both Introduction to Nature Guiding as well as View Potentially Dangerous Animals – Professional with an added 2 weeks of practical excursions and assessment. The duration of this course is 6 weeks.
