Elephants were recently spotted in Otjombinde village. A resident in the area, Erna Kandorozu said an eye witness just told her this morning that he saw the elephants close to Otjongaka village but could not confirm how many there were. Kandoruzu said villagers in the surrounding places such as Paradise must be alert as these areas have a lot of cattle posts where the elephants might look for water and feed.
