Your guests are tested positive for Covid in Namibia and need to go into quarantine?

No panic: Hotel Uhland in Windhoek is very experienced in taking care of persons in this situation and we really care for them.

We had already more than 4800 room nights booked for quarantine and the feedback from the guests is very good.

We serve delicious meals, individually prepared for our guests: for typical Namibian meat eaters or vegetarians, or anything in between. German Frühstück with Brötchen, jam, müesli and cold cuts, warm breakfast with eggs, boerewors and beans or mielie pap, daily changing lunch and dinner - we cater for (nearly) all tastes.

All rooms offer air conditioning and we provide a safe area for our quarantine guests where they can go out into the sun without getting in contact with other, not-quarantined guests.

Our very strong, reliable Wifi helps to get over the boring part of the quarantine or makes online working possible.

Your guests feel sick and unsecure and would like to see a doctor or want a PCR test done in house? We always find a way to assist them.

The situation with Covid-19 is difficult for all of us in Windhoek and country as a whole. People want to travel to Namibia and some are travelling.

We want to let you know, that we are available for your guests. No matter if they want a "normal" stay or if they need to stay longer to quarantine. Even if they have tested positive and need to isolate until they test negative again.

We are experienced in looking after people in quarantine and isolation as the Ministry of Health has made use of our facilities for many months.

This is a testimony from guests recently staying with us:

"We had a very nice stay at this Hotel, even if it was “unvoluntary”: a quarantine stay at the end of our travel through Namibia in April/May 2021 due to a positive Covid-19 test. […] We had a separate area of the hotel with garden for the one week stay, we could individually arrange for the food we were served and so we had a very relaxed week until the next covid test."
