In the spirit of the inquisitive, follow in the footsteps of a private guide while tracking the elusive rhino, to which the Matobo National Park is home. Witnessing these endangered animals is nothing short of an honour, and part of the vast and significant biodiversity of the park. Sable, zebra, giraffe and wildebeest make up some of the plains game in the area, with a small leopard population who thrive in the rocky habitat. The birdlife lays claim to the highest concentration of breeding pairs of black eagles worldwide, an accolade worthy of mention for these endangered species.
