As you know, Nature has its own rules...

Sinking water level affects activities at Chobe River Camp
Due to the current drought, the water level of the Chobe River is considerably lower than last year. With sandbanks emerging daily we have to adjust our activities at Chobe River Camp accordingly as the safety of our guests enjoys highest priority.
Until further notice unfortunately cannot offer boat cruises anymore but would like to invite our guests to join a half-day game drive (3 hours, AM or PM) at a special rate, bookable in advance. Alternative activities offered at the Lodge, subject to availability, are guided walking trails, canoe trips or birding drives.
If you still want to enjoy a relaxing boat cruise, we can recommend the various boat cruises and fishing trips on the Zambezi River at Zambezi Mubala Camp or Lodge, about 80 km from Chobe River Camp.
