Sincerely hoping that this email finds you well during these challenging times, I wish to inform you about a* new activity which tourists and Namibians can enjoy at Namibia's coast - SURFING.*
*Salty Jackal Surf School* is Namibia's only surf school. It is registered as an activity operator (ACT01054) with the Namibia Tourism Board and its surf instructors are qualified by the ISA (International Surfing Association).
*Most visitors opt for a once off surf lesson as a fun activity lasting 2.5-3 hours - these are **bookable on most days**.* However we also offer surf guiding to various surf spots for experienced surfers and so-called surf camps which offer extended surfing programs with included accommodation at our surf house (registered with NTB as BHP 01034).
*Lessons include: *
*surf board
*wet suit for warmth (all sizes)
*transport (Swakopmund only)
*ISA & 1st aid qualified surf instructor
*surf theory & safety talk
*surf time in the water for approx 1-1.5h
*sunblock
*What you need to bring:*
*bathing suit & towel
*drinking water
*warm clothes for after surfing

Starter pack - 5 group lessons
Includes board & wet suit, transport & ISA qualified instructor
Surf development course* - 10 sessions
Beginner & Improver courses - includes gear, transport to various spots, surf theory & land exercises, self-study assignments, 1-to-1 feedback & progress report, one session private coaching & video analysis, fun surf contest & certificate upon completion
*Please note: you must be able to swim, be reasonably fit and must be in good health. Minimum age 8 years unless discussed otherwise.*

1. Contact us to find out when the next lesson can be offered.
2. Let us know the height, weight, age & gender of each client so that wecan provide the correct wet suit size.
3. We require a minimum of 2 persons to participate in a surf lesson, for 1-on1 lessons a higher fee applies as per poster attached.
4. There is a discount for Namibians.
