Jet Boat Safaris - Victoria Falls
"...Exploring Islands above the Victoria Falls..."
"A cruise taking you where others want to go..."
Bushtracks Africa is proud to announce the introduction of its own unique cruising division using specially designed 'jet propelled' boats that can operate in very shallow water amongst the islands directly above The Victoria Falls.
Bushtracks Cruising has two boats that each have two engines for increased safety and are 'propeller free' so you can experience the Zambezi River as viewed by David Livingstone as he canoed, unknowingly, towards The Falls edge. Meander between the islands above 'The Smoke that Thunders', the local name given to The Victoria Falls and discover.
Wildlife - You may be fortunate enough to witness elephants swimming from island to island, grazing or dusting themselves on the riverbanks. Or hippo wallowing in the river, and the ever present crocodiles that warm themselves on the river bank.
Birdlife - Observe the aquatic bird life and other resident or migratory species that make the islands their home.
Explore - Get close up exploration of the flora and fauna.
Hospitality - Enjoy the hospitality of our Captain and staff as you relax and enjoy the delicious snacks and chilled refreshments characterize a level of comfort and grace unsurpassed on the Zambezi.
Sunset Cruise departs at 16h00 in winter (1st May-31st July) and 16h30 in summer (1st Aug-30th April). Includes a full bar with local spirits and mixers, beers, wines, soft drinks and an assortment of savory snacks. Maximum 16 passengers, minimum 2 passengers.
