Recently Galton House has became completely solar reliant, with a state-of-the-art solar installation which services the needs of the entire guest house. As one of only a few urban accommodation establishments able to boast this, we feel proud to be helping look after our environment in such a significant way.
Our lunch menu has been completely overhauled, adding tasty new dishes and also a great kiddies menu, all thanks to our very own foodie Penny Scott.
We now offer complimentary afternoon coffee/tea and cake at 16h00 during summer and 15h30 during winter. In addition to this, we serve complimentary bar snacks with the traditional ‘sundowners’ in the evening pre dinner. All of this again is a true value add, to give your clients the perfect ‘camp/lodge-type’ experience in Windhoek.
