Greetings from Rossmund Golf Resort & Lodge!

Lodge News
Rossmund Lodge is proud to announce that we have joined the Nights-bridge system, which allows you to check our own website for live availability and bookings!   For greater visibility we have also listed ourselves on some booking platforms like booking.com.  We are going more and more digital but will keep our personal hands-on touch which our guests love so much!
We also want to remind you of our now regular Friday night Curry!
What to do while staying at the coast!

Phase 2 of the Rossmund Development is well under way and construction will soon begin on the first properties. If you have been considering a property, now is a very good time to invest.  For a limited time, on select properties only, we are offering:
Only 682.50 Per Square Metre

The Rossmund Lodge hosts guests visiting from all over the world as well as business guests. We thought that we would showcase some of the activities available at the coast—fun for locals and visitors alike.

We have a lot of exciting news from the golf course this month. In the world of golf, Jordan Spieth has won two of four majors this year, and has claimed the number one ranking in the world. Tiger seems to have found his mojo, and Gert has been very busy!

In other news, Nancy, Hendrik and Dawie have finished the new menu; the lodge has expanded its on line reach; new monthly events are happening in the clubhouse every month, and lots more!

As a reminder, both the Golf Course Clubhouse Restaurant and Lodge Dining Room offer light lunches and dinners daily with chef specials every now and then.  And all meals as well as platters can be ordered as takeaways, either just for your lunch or dinner or for a party at your own house! Even safari companies looking for ready prepared meals to take along on camping safaris or as light lunches en route, can contact Hendrik.

GOLF COURSE MANAGER’S MESSAGE  (Gert)
Maintenance  Report
St. Andrews has nothing on us! We are in the process of refurbishing our greens. We have just finished work on the ninth hole and our work continues.
We are carrying on with general maintenance, replacing dead spots and freshening up the grass.
We have also  finished work on the 4th  tee box.

GREETINGS FROM THE KITCHEN!
The Rossmund Golf Course happily announces that we have set-tled in with our management team in the restaurant. Nancy has decided to stay on with us and will serve as our Executive Chef, while Dawie will take the helm in the kitchen as Head Chef. Hendrik fills the role of Food and Beverage Manager, co-ordinating conferences and events, thus allowing Dana to focus on marketing going forward.

We have also finalized our menus with a variety that should suit every palate from fun food to fine food. The new menu includes a soup of the day and a Goat’s Cheese Tartlet for starters. A gar-den salad,  Caesar Salad and Cabrese Salad will be on offer with some other goodies available to add. There are a ton of burgers and paninis on offer, which are great for a bite at the turn or a fun lunch for kids of all ages.

Main dishes include some more sophisticated Panini’s like the Panini Monaco with sliced English cucumber, wasabi cream and smoked salmon on a bed of crispy lettuce, and the Panini Godfa-ther. Then there is your basic fish and chips, chicken skewers, chicken schnitzel, beef ribs and a juicy rib-eye steak with roast vegetables and chips.  Several creative pasta dishes are on the menu as well as four desserts including tipsy tart and Creme Brulee! And the kitchen is always ready for a special event!
The restaurant is up, running and approaching cruising speed!
