There will be an interruption in water supply to Rossing Terminal Reservoirs on 8 April and to Nonidas and the Langer Heinrich Mine the following day.
NamWater spokesperson Tommi-Riva Numbala said yesterday they are busy with upgrading the Swakopmund - Rossing water supply system, which includes scheduled work to be done at the Swakopmund Base pump station and the Rossing Booster 3 pump station on Tuesday.
Work at the Swakopmund Base station is also scheduled for Wednesday 9 April and will affect Langer Heinrich Mine, as well as Nonidas consumers for the whole day on 9 April. NamWater said they regret any inconvenience caused as a result of the ongoing upgrade.
