Namibia: Drum Café is launching a weekly drumming circle

Drum Café Namibia has launched a weekly drumming circle, taking place every Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm at the popular beer garden restaurant.

Locals and tourists are invited to join in the one-hour drumming event. No previous drumming experience needed! While djembe drums will be provided for up to 40 participants, avid drummers who own their own instrument are encouraged to bring it along.
This is a family friendly event and children may participate.

There is no entrance fee, but donations are welcome.

Drum Café Namibia was launched early in February in Windhoek, when local music group Ongoma announced that it is now trading as Drum Café and will be offering the vastly popular programs of one of the world’s leading Team Building and Corporate Events Companies.

Drum Cafe has been using corporate drumming for over two decades to create a heartbeat, a pulse that is unifying corporations across the globe. This beat is enabling companies to wholeheartedly embrace the spirit of Ubuntu, improve teamwork and as a result, cultivate a sense of togetherness.

Drum Café is using percussion instruments to symbolize each employee's part in the orchestra that makes up an organization, thereby allowing participants to identify the contributions of diversity; foster an environment of collaboration, improve communication and achieve commonly set goals.

This has been proven over and over again to stimulate organizational growth, effectiveness as well as overall productivity.

Recipient of numerous international awards, presenter of five prestigious TEDx events and with offices in over 26 countries, Drum Café is undoubtedly the world leader at using interactive drumming as a form of teambuilding.

Our clients also use us to deliver customized messages, do product launches, invigorate participants at conferences or facilitate interactive fun drumming for schools, weddings or birthdays.
