Enjoy a delicious breakfast before departing on your journey along the renowned Garden Route towards Mossel Bay. A conservation experience at Gondwana Game Reserve – an 11 000 hectare private Big 5 reserve – awaits! Get ready to get your hands dirty with wildlife and veld management and learn key bush skills and the interpretation of them. You may participate in the monitoring of the Cape Leopard cameras and learn more about photographic surveys and radio collar data to determine species distribution within the surrounding area. Conduct vegetation surveys and have the opportunity to take part in the eradication of alien vegetation. Learn how to identify Fynbos and various animal species and have fun while becoming skilled at fishing and foraging. A hearty homemade meal can be looked forward to for dinner, followed by an evening talk preparing you for the next day’s activities. Overnight at Gondwana Eco Camp. [BLD]
