Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch
Situated approximately 50 km from Mariental on the edge of the Southern Kalahari, amidst an enchanting environment of scintillating glowing red dunes and pristine wilderness, the C20 road takes you eastwards and on to the D1268 gravel road northwards for roughly 25 km until you reach the magical Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch.
The Ranch has 20 rooms and 6 Campsites, Restaurant, Bar, WiFi access in communal areas, Air Conditioning, Swimming Pool, Spa, Activities, Visa & Master Credit cards welcome, and Laundry Service.
**NEW** 2 Dune Exclusive Chalets - with private splash pools and private dinning options
4 Dune Chalets well separated from each other, stand on stilts on top of the red dunes, with unsurpassed views to the south-west, across the dune landscape. Each has 2 single beds, en-suite facilities with bath and shower, air-conditioning, a coffee/tea station and bar-fridge. Max 2 adult Sharing.
**NEW** Savanna Chalets (total 10): Previously called Strohbale Chalet, there are 6 existing chalets and 4 newly built chalets. 8 of the Savannah Chalets stand well apart from each other in the street between the dunes, while remaining 2 rooms are next to each other in 1 building (ideal for families and friends). Each Chalet has 2 quarter beds, en-suite shower facilities, air-conditioning, coffee/tea station and a bar-fridge.
4 Adjoining Garden Rooms each have 2 single beds en-suite shower facilities, ceiling cooling fans, air-conditioner and coffee/tea station. We put extra bed for children in any type of room, except the Dune Exclusive Chalet. The Dune chalet can only accommodate one more additional bed.
In the Restaurant our chef will tease your taste-buds with delicious meals morning, noon and night. Our cellar holds an excellent selection of South African wines together with an extensive range of brandy, whisky, cognac and liqueurs.
6 Individual Campsites 1 km away in a nearby street between the dunes. Each has a fully tiled ablution block with toilet, shower, washbasin and mirror, hot water, solar lighting and romantic paraffin lamp lighting.

Morning Scenic Drive: Discover the magic of the dunes, their amazing diversity of animal and bird life, and learn about their unique topography and vegetation.
Afternoon Sundowner Drive: End the daylight hours by watching the dying rays of the sun as they re-draw the landscape in ever-changing colours, especially with a cool sundowner in your hand.
Cheetah Feeding: Experience our special cheetah feeding tour in the evenings. The cheetahs at Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch live with us under the auspices of the Cheetah Conservation Fund because of their individual histories. We care for them in order to guarantee them the best possible quality of life.
Morning Walk with the San: Close encounters with the wonders of the Kalahari. Your knowledgeable Guide will explore the dunes, revealing some of their mysteries, and search for the creatures and animals of the desert who have adapted to survive in its harsh conditions.
