Lanzerac Wine Estate, located in Stellenbosch, South Africa, is undergoing an extensive refurbishment.
December 2013 marked the completion of phase 1 – the remodelling of the wine tasting room as well as the addition of the adjoining Lanzerac Deli. In October this year phase 2 – the full reconstruction of their function venue and the Cellar Hall – was finalised.
Phase 3 of the refurbishment project – the revamping of the hotel rooms and suites – is currently in progress and will continue through the most of 2015. This process will be well managed in order to have the least impact on the guest experience. Different dates are set out during which time specific rooms will be worked on. Guests will be placed in rooms furthest from any refurbishment and any area under renovation will be carefully screened off.
The Manor House rooms are still under review. The Lanzerac Spa will also be undergoing a full remodel – the time frame of which is yet to be advised.
